I share your concern. Look at it this way. If the vote is Monday - we cannot now do anything. Monday should be some kind of indicator - except if for some reason it is delayed.
Last Friday many resource stocks got hammered. I believe oily stocks with reserves will benefit either way. DNR remains one my favorite CC stocks (ITM 15s). A good economy and demand will drive them. A overly regulated economy will cause shortages - and reserve holders will grow in value.
FWIW - I do not see how tax, tax, tax can ever equal jobs, jobs, jobs.
