It really depends on what program you're using to read the conversations.  I'm starting to adopt the opinion
that including citations in a post is kind of "old-school".  If you are using a modern threaded mail reader like
Gmail, the entire conversation (keyed by subject) is shown in chronological order on a single page, so
all the citations actually become redundant.  (If I want to see what was said earlier, I just scroll up a bit.)

That being said, I usually try to provide some kind of citation in my posts anyway, but I usually trim
them way down to just the pertinent part.  I know some people probably follow the group directly from
the YahooGroups website, and would probably be lost without some kind of context to each post.
