Jeremy was merely responding to John's statement about making that much money per day. We now think John meant "per month" instead of per day, since his capital is $5,000.00

To make that kind of money, you better have some good data.  And I don't mean just the implied data, but also option price history on a daily basis.  That service is cheap, but well worth it.  I make about half of what you are trying to make, and I look at a lot of things; espically how an option has moved over the weeks in relation to the underlying stock movement.
