I don't go into the chat rooms much at all any more, but just from going there to attend the Wednesday and Friday chats by Tom Sosnoff, it seems to me the ShadowTrader room is still the largest population (right now, an hour after the close, there's still 1043 users logged in there.) I think the Market Cast has become another of the rooms that people just "leave on" to listen to the pit in the background from time to time (at least, that's what I do ... proved useful last week!)
The David Elliott room was restricted, but became "public" a couple of months ago -- it swelled in numbers for a while, but now it's seeing attrition. I find it much too time-consuming to try to keep up and the "signal to noise ratio" in there is out of bounds.
I still think the Shadow Trader room is an excellent resource, especially for novice day traders and swing traders.

Does anybody know where all the action went from TOS's "shadow trader" chat room.I wasn't there for a while, but it typically had at least thousand people during the day.
