With the consternation in the USA, here are 3 good companies with reasonable April cc yields (not bad for CSP in some cases as well by the way, e.g. PBRapr46 @$1.1):
PBR: Petrobras - strong offshore presence, just recently purchased a bunch of stuff from Devon (synergistically -- Devon needed money, Petrobras wanted more area and wells) -- currently drilling some of deepest wells in world off their Brazilian coast. Well liked by most of the energy mavens
MOS: Farming and mining -- strong company -- fertilizer -- although US, owned by Cargil. None of the baggage associated with the CF debacle. With the name, oughta be a semiconductor stock
VALE: largest iron ore mining in South America -- Brazilian
These are all major companies that anyone should not mind owning for the long term -- they are not screamers, just workmanlike solid stox.
