So I presume you raised this as the basis for a pairs trade on the yen and the usd.  I suggest instead the swiss franc ... if only because they're neutral, but it is the better trade. : )

Read this article and tell me this is not a Smoot-Hawley act in the making.  I am not old enough to remember the "Great Depression" but I do not really want to experience one either!
