[TheOptionClub.com] Re: SpreadTrading Training

Earlier this year I did launch a private member site. I licensed a
video trading course, which is available for download in the member's
site but I am in the process of compiling my own materials. While I
like the course I licensed, I think my materials will be better focused
and provide a bit more practical guidance. We also have weekly live
webinar/chat sessions and a discussion forum where members can get
support. Member's receive access to all new materials as they are
added, which tends to be on a weekly basis.

I have not really promoted the site heavily, opting to let the member's
site develop some character first and hopefully pull together the video
materials that I am working on before really trying to "get the word
out." But, it is there and is accepting new members.

spreads as a style and nothing too complex - I just do not see complex
trading as a need for earning a modest monthly return.

Is there a lot of value I would get from buying Chris' courses and
watching his videos or is it going to be the same stuff as Jeff's but
with different voice and words?

Phil's discussion on Elite Trader was very good. We also had some
excellent chat sessions with him. Dig through our archive, it's all
still there.

[TheOptionClub.com] Re: INO.com and 'Giant Footprints'

INO.com's Giant Footprints is a trend following system that can be
traded on multiple time frames. My experience is that if it is applied
properly along with good risk management, it can serve as an effective
trading system.

In the Elite Traders forum is one of the best credit spread trading journals I have run across. Though it dates from 2005, it has been a great resource for me, and you might like to take a look at it:

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49586&perpage=10&pagenumber=1

This thread was posted by Philip Budwick, who at the time, was posting as OptionCoach. Philip is the author of "The Option Trader Handbook," which I have and recommend. I believe he has had some chat sessions with Chris here in this forum.

The journal focuses on writing put credit spreads on SPX in an upward trending market, and deals with many nuances including when to hedge, when to roll down, when to put on the "other side" for an Iron Condor, etc. A real feast of practical trading.

Hope you find it use full.
