Re: [TheOptionClub.com] I am just a beginner...having trouble picking stocks that go one way or ...

I would say play one contract at a time any way you want but play small stocks at low cost. Don't do what I did and start with a double short etf for thousands per contracts the first time out. Here are some good ones for a back month trade OIH july 85 90 puts. Front month DIA IWM june puts close to the money. Etf slower than stocks not as fast moving. I am also watching FSLR entry 200 plus for puts 175 for calls. SOHU shorts 55 june. DRYS 10 calls sept. Be careful your first trades take your time cut your lossers quick and let your winners run. If you do this you can be wrong 10 times and if your right once you will make it all back and more. Hope that helps.

....the other for more than a week or so. Should I try vertical spreads I learned in "class" or should I stick with Puts and Calls for awhile until I get the feeling for what I'm doing??
Thanks, Judy L.
