Re: [TheOptionClub.com] Question on Adding/Subtracting Delta

In the TOS archive of the weekly Wednesday presentation there is one by Don Kaufman who discuses the delta and theta adjustments of the entire position versus individual trades.

Hello again,

I'm learning to add/subtract delta to keep it as neutral as possible for my Iron Condors and Double Calendars. Right now I've got a number of positions that add up to a positive 12 delta position.

If I put on a small trade to bring the delta down a few, I still have to manage these positions individually as well.So my question is, is it beneficial to try to keep the overall position delta neutral by adding a trade here and there to adjust, or is it better to just try to manage the positions I already have?

I hope the question is clear. And I appreciate any answers given.

Thank you.

Mike
