RE: [TheOptionClub.com] Re: Has anyone tried this for TOS Commissions?

Not sure if it would be worth it for you, depending on how much trading you actually do, and other considerations, but have you considered forming an LLC here in the USA and trading through that US based entity?

Hey Guys,

Here is the response from Scott Sheridan to my email inquiry:

“Thanks for the e-mail.  Unfortunately clearing costs in Canada are much higher than in the US and that is the reason for the minimums.  I have no control over the Canadian accounts post merger with Ameritrade as all of the accounts moved to TD bank.  I am going to copy Kevin Jeffrey from the Canadian team so that he can look at your account and see if anything can be done.

Thanks,

Scott Sheridan”

Hopefully they can do something for me but unfortunately it looks grim right now.

Also, in response to eoption.com’s availability in Canada they responded with a no on that one.
