I asked Don Kaufman to set aside some time to speak with us about managing a portfolio of options trades using the Greeks, and apparently he loves this stuff because he was pretty enthusiastic when he agreed to it.
Don works for ThinkOrSwim and does a lot of the educational presentations. I have had him do a live presentation for us in Los Angeles in years past, I have attended several of his seminars, and have always walked away having learned something.
This presentation is directed towards folks who are learning about income trading strategies in the Trading Room, but Don is not charging for his time so I decided I would open it up to the whole community. That's right, you can attend for free.
The presentation is next week on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. PST (4:00 p.m. CST / 5:00 EST). It's all about looking beyond a single trade and seeing the bigger picture that can result when you're comfortable using the Greeks and trading multiple positions in tandem.
The whole thing will be presented on-line and if you would like to attend, all you need to do is register:
Is it going to be recorded you ask? The answer is that yes, it will be recorded. BUT, video files for presentations like this are enormous and I'm getting stingy with the badwidth. So, I'm planning to only make it accessible through the Trading Room. I mention this now so that you have fair notice.
Also in the fair notice category, I will send out an e-mail this weekend to anyone on our mailing list with the same information. Our on-line platform can reportedly handle 1,000 participants. Subtract two spots for me and Don, and that leaves room for 998. Shouldn't be a problem, but the mailing does go out to over 4,000 people.
I'll be taking the registration link down if we get up to the 700 to 800 mark, to make sure there are spots for Trading Room subscribers.
So, if this sounds like something you want to attend, register while you can.
