Re: [TheOptionClub.com] A Great Day to Sell Premium?

I most certainly did notice!!!!

I wanted to sell premium in the worst way, but as the market closed near the low and Mondays are usually brutal market action on the open, I took the chance and waited.
So perhaps Monday AM I will sell a straddle or something????

I have a trade on the XLE and it(IV) was up more than 25% today. More like 28%.

I was selling verticals all day, but as usual  I had to close them into fly's pretty quickly.
The market never seems to give me a free trade.   :(

The VIX spiked up 24% today.  I have heard that there are traders who
only open up positions on days like this.  I am wondering if any
credit spread traders noticed a big difference in the premiums they
received today versus yesterday, say.  Was it a good day to open both
put and call spreads?
