This is one of the great broker ironies for me, too. I was a TD
Ameritrade customer years ago and closed my accounts with them when I
started trading options. Institutionally, I don't think they understood
the product and would only allow you to trade covered calls and married
puts. I later find myself with one of the most options savvy brokers in
the world and who buys them? Yep, the old broker I previously left.
