[TheOptionClub.com] Re: Double Calendar Adjustments

Leo,

If I am in a double calendar trade, I never look at it as a single. Breaking up any spread trade and looking at a risk chart will freak you out. I never look at a multi-calendar as a single with one exception: if I am looking to 'leg' out of a double or triple.

For adjustments, if I am in a single, I look to add another calendar. If in a double, I look to add a third calendar. Sometimes I may fund that third calendar by closing the calendar that is the furthest OTM - which puts me back into a double calendar that effectively has been 'rolled' to a new range.

When I am in any spread trade, I only monitor it as an entire spread and never at the individual component level. I make my decisions based on that and then I might start to decompose the trade if I want to make an adjustment.

Just curious: did you read the post and watch the video?
