RE: [TheOptionClub.com] Intraday Setup Indicator

What a fine post!  I wish it had one more item…how you actually settle in to make consistent money.  Maybe it’s not there because you are not writing a fairy tale? J

Thanks,

Pete

"In investing, there is no holy grail other than the one you fashion for yourself."

And there in lies the biggest conundrum ... all the other things that Vikas and you mention will take care of themselves if you know that. Kind of in an infinite loop, isn't it?

  • You work hard, get a good (real) education, real job, make some money.
  • Then you find out how to make this money multiply - enter the wonderful world of trading oops investing.
  • Then you think that you are smarter than everyone else
  • Get a bunch of indicators, tweak them (if someone uses 2 SD, use 1.8, if others use 10MA, use 9, etc.)
  • Then mysteriously they stop working, you wonder why?
  • Then you go and sign up with the Van Tharp's of the world and figure out the problem was always YOU (you should have listened to your spouse/significant other all along :-)).
  • Then you try to figure out how to fashion things for yourself - what works for me.
  • All along your account balance is getting depleted.
  • Then you realize, damn it, I was good at what I was doing and making a decent living.
  • And then you get back to your grind, get a real job (or try to) - you may be wiser, but you are older too.

Been there, done that.

There are a bunch of people telling us to follow them to the riches and a bunch of others telling us that the problem is YOU (us).

And everything is for "educational purposes" :-).

Good luck - be safe. Keep your hard earned money.
