Yes, I have used Vectorvest for 6+ years, it is useful for doing many things that Yahoo finance can do for you, however,  the relative values based on 0 to 2 using the value,saftey, timing and vst(vectorvest saftey and timing are useful, in that they at least give you buy, sell, hold  opinions) These are primarily derived from mostly directional moves, meaning if the stock is going up, it shows a buy , going down is a sell for the most part. You can go directly to yahoo finance by right clicking on the stock in a portfolio and hitting news. This is quite helpful in your research. VV also shows many ideas, fundelmentals as well as average dailey shares traded against the current day. This helps show if it is up say700,000 to 2 million shares, and the stock is moving up, it may mean the larger players are getting in(time to buy) The isearch feature is interesting  and quick test feature.----any questions, let me know
