I have the same question.
It is difficult to track the transactions in IB,s accounting system. The accounting balance in 'Order Management,' 'Trades,' 'Account' are always different. In the real-time accounting, such difference can happen. However, in the final 'Statement, sometimes, the balance or P/L numbers are significantly different.
I complained several times. The answers are: "Send me a shot." "I cannot open the file." "This problem has been fixed." The problem is still there. Several weeks later, I complained again, and the support said, "Send me a shot."
Their feedback system is becoming poor. The accounting procedure and system do not seem proper. TWS is out of date. Does IB have a serious management problem? Or if I have good plug-in third party software, can I avoid this mess? Does anybody know the core problem? Thanks.
