Re: [TheOptionClub.com] What good is it?

Jeff -

Although I don't know you, I feel like I have been in your spot and would like to offer some advice.  This advice is really aimed at all of the readers and not specifically at you.  Please understand that I'm trying to help.  OK, here goes:

Setting aside whether or not we need to be moderated (which I think we do) I'm really concerned by your language.  Your comments about needing timely responses indicates that you are using this group to trade from and that's inappropriate.  You and you alone are responsible for your trading. You should not be looking for any person / group / advisor etc to be managing your account nor should you be trading at a size that is inappropriate for your experience and overall capital.

Yes, I know each of you will immediately respond with a list of your mad skills, superior training, GPA, years on the floor, and the fact that you are good friends with Dan Sheridan and Charles Cottle and Ron I.  Please hold those responses.  The bare truth of options trading is this:

If you are uncomfortable / emotional about any position then you are trading too large for your size and / or experience.  Options trading is a very difficult business that will only be mastered after lots and lots of hard work, proper training, and most of all.... survival.

How do you know if you are getting emotional?  Easy.... Look around you.  Is your level of response appropriate? Are you yelling at someone like Chris for spending hours and hours of his time helping other for free?

HTH,

Mojo

Why does this group have to be moderated? How can you get timely information if the moderator is not moderating?
