[ConservativeOptionStrategies] Re: KCM Model Portfolio update

It is a Model Portfolio with a hypothetical $20,000 starting each year - for learning purposes. Once my CC strategy approach is fully understood - you can set your account exposure to whatever you like.

My real money accounts have been traded since Jan-2002 (when I opened my website to the public). I started with a $20,000 Roth IRA account. I still trade high-growth with a long-term perspective to allow the power of compounding to take hold.

I encourage group members to pose questions as my 2010 results unfold. Following each trade and understanding the long-term investment approach will benefit the CC writer for years.

Eventually my simple strategy approach will seem entirely possible. Who knows, some may even become full-time traders living off a fraction, as annual gains grow exponentially.

Yes, these plays have been front-month, lower-yielding positions - but with a once-again extended rally (which could change with a big jump in large volume), we'll play it safe(r). Point is...if these need to be unwound (STOPPED), loss would be more minimal than large premium CC plays.

But for now - do not be surprised - if we take some profit off the table (before expiration), and not let some of these cycle from gains into losses. I hate managing like this, but until we get a turnover in market leadership, I try to follow along with the market - even if we won't make much progress with our funds. At some point some really good gains should again come to the fore.
