RE: [ConservativeOptionStrategies] Re: Annual Returns

Gilbert,

I started by ordering & reading   "Covered Calls & LEAPS – A Wealth Option" from Compound Stock Earnings.  Yesterday I signed up for the free one month CSE toolbox to review.   I then went online and came across a yahoo group discussion for CSE which led from one link to another.  I'm not sure where you fit in, I just want to sell some version of covered calls.  I am not a pro, but am very familiar with options and how they work in general although not really profitably.  If you're a mentor in this area, I'd like to hear more information from you.

Thanks Jeff,

At present I manage my personal accounts, only. However I do now mentor, for free, around 10 others with my covered call fund management program. It is very similar to what I am demonstrating to the COS group - minus (2) training seminar series'.

In the past I have charged for these services. I try to benefit the individual investor with a a valuable covered call system - that will work for the rest of their life.

Meanwhile, if you noted from my previous response, my current (JAN 2009 - present) performance is under independent audit. All trades you see posted to the COS group are being tracked.

These trades can also be auto-traded. Anyone can send me a private email for more info on how to have each trade from my covered call system automatically executed in your own account (still free).

Additionally, in the future I may start my own Yahoo! Group (if there is any interest) to share more about mentoring CC fund managers and to discuss my various webinars.

These returns are better than a lot of professional money managers. Do you manage other peoples’ money or are you trading just your own?

A volatile 2007 showed a minimal out-performance, while 2008’s was huge. For all of 2009 and (3) months into 2010 has yet to produce our standard divergence, thereby giving us optimistic expectations for the rest of 2010.

Although portfolio allocations (up to ~10 positions) are basically the same for my $20,000 Model Portfolio as for larger accounts, with smaller accounts - trade commissions significantly impact ytd returns! However on the plus side, covered calls can be traded in an IRA account and compounded for years. With each passing year, when keeping the same percent allocations, commissions account for less of the overall total.
