Re: [TheOptionClub.com] Screening for Strategies

Hello Robert,

I work for PowerOptions (www.poweropt.com) and we recently started working with some of the instructors / mentors at Sheridan Mentoring.  We offer Search tools and analysis for over 23 different options strategies, including Calendar Calls and Calendar Puts (both diagonal and horizontal).

You can filter by the long option expiration and short option expiration, range ITM or OTM, option volume and open interest, implied volatility for both the short and long option, implied volatility ratio between the two options, long and short option delta, Black-Scholes Ratio, long option and short option time value, etc.  I think our search tools may include all the criteria you are looking for.  We do offer a 14 Day Free Trial to our tools.

I follow the OptionClub, Justcoveredcalls message board, compoundstockearnings message board and a few others, but I do not post that frequently as I promised the moderators I would not advertise on the boards when I initially signed up.  But I wanted to let you know about the PO tools for Calendar Spreads as I think they offer most of the search capability you are looking for.

It's an article from Stocks & Commodities magazine, and Dan's criteria for calendars are in a side bar in that article.
