I went to an options club meeting here in Atlanta. It was great. Options traders seem to be an interesting group of people. It seems like the same kind of people that are into computer programming. It's very interesting to see the arising options community.
Anyhow, one woman there was discussing Sheridan's training 'community'. It sounded expensive, but very indepth;2 years training, 1 on 1 with Dan.
Has anyone taken the program? Any comments?
I think his options software was created by one of his students. It seemed good, and it(the computer program) was presented as being better than optionvue(of course the speaker was bias). I'm hoping to become really involved in TOS paper trading for the next
3-6 months. Also, during this time I'm just planning on doing some very basic covered call writing and studying strategies.
Many topics were discussed. Options seem very very conceptual and interesting.
Does anyone do gamma scalping? Where's the best place to begin learning about Greeks?
Good luck to all. From: Dennis <dennis.lastor@

Dans software is nice - but, you have to be a student in order to use it.

OptionVue 6
Or
Dan Sheridan has his own software that he just released
Or
Keep $500 in TOS and continue to use TOS software and just enter your positions in simulator mode

You might check with Goldman Saks.
If you have a million $$ to open account with.
Thats what TOS probably uses.
Does anyone know of the availability of software or an online service that provides real-time risk/profit data monitoring on existing options positions such as iron condors and double calendars similar to the real time monitoring that is possible with TOS, i.e. greek data, and the other features the TOS platform has? I am trying to figure out the implications of the margin issues with TOS and if it will be necessary for me to opt against TOS.
Thank you,
Larry B
